2. JOB SUMMARY:
The Consultancy Sales Representative sells Niyat's consultancy portfolio: Business Process Management and Quality Management (the priority and flagship line), Organizational Development, Business Development and Accelerating, and Talent Hunting and Development. The role converts advisory opportunities in the field into signed engagements.
The role requires the maturity to sell professional services to senior client stakeholders, to lead entry BPM and QMS conversions, and to cross-sell across the four service lines. It works closely with the Consultancy Directorate to shape scopes and proposals that are deliverable and differentiated.
3. Responsibilities
- Prospect and convert consultancy opportunities, leading with BPM and QMS as the entry offer.
- Develop key accounts; cross-sell OD, BD and Talent across the portfolio.
- Coordinate proposals and scopes with the Consultancy Directorate; price with Finance; defend value.
- Own senior client relationships; ensure engagement expectations are set and met.
- Convert formal group contracts with sister companies.
- Feed advisory market trends and competitor insight back to the Directorate.
4. Required Qualifications
Education:
- Degree in Business, Management, Economics or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Experience:
- 3 to 6 years selling professional or advisory
services with a demonstrable record.
- Familiarity with BPM and QMS, Organizational Development or business advisory; understanding of consulting engagement models.
- Professional working proficiency in English and Amharic, written and spoken.
- An existing senior client network; exposure to public-enterprise or financial-sector clients.
Skills and Competencies:
- Sells outcomes and methodology, not hours; diagnoses the client's real problem.
- Credible with senior client stakeholders; presents and defends value
- Protects margin; understands scoping, terms and collection risk.
- Works with delivery to shape deliverable, differentiated scopes.
- Builds and holds long-term key accounts.
- Carries a target through long advisory sales cycles.
