Job Summary

A Product Manager is responsible for defining and driving the strategic vision of software products, ensuring they meet customer needs, align with business goals
and stay competitive in the market. They act as a bridge between cross-functional teams such as Design, Development, and Business Development team to ensure 
the successful planning, development, and launch of software products.

1. Key Responsibilities

  • Product Roadmap
    • Collaborate with product owners and cross-functional teams to create and prioritize product roadmaps that align with business goals and customer needs.
  • Market and Customer Research
    • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancement and innovation.
    • Gather feedback from customers, stakeholders, and market analysis to identify opportunities and prioritize features.
  • Product Development
    • Work closely with development teams to define product requirements, features, and functionalities, ensuring timely delivery and quality of products.
  • Product Launch
    • Plan and execute product launches, including go-to-market strategies, pricing, positioning, and marketing campaigns to drive product adoption and revenue growth.
    • Work closely with the development and design teams to ensure that the product meets user needs, quality standards, and technical requirements.
  • Stakeholder Management
    •  Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including product owners, engineering teams, sales, marketing, and customer support to ensure alignment on product goals and priorities.
  • Performance Monitoring
    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for each product, analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and make data-driven decisions to optimize product performance.
  • Customer Engagement
    • Engage with customers through feedback sessions, user testing, and surveys to gather insights for product improvement and enhancement.
  • Team Leadership
    • Provide leadership and guidance to product owners and cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product development processes, tools, and methodologies for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
    •  Foster a collaborative environment and effective communication among team members. Work closely with cross-functional teams including development, design, marketing, sales, and customer support team to gather inputs, address concerns, and ensure that standard processes are implemented for the successful delivery of product.
  • Subject Matter Expertise
    •  Product Managers should have expertise knowledge in the domain relevant to products. This involves staying abreast of industry-specific terminology, regulations, standards, and best practices.

2. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Proven experience (3-7 years) as a Product Manager, preferably in software development or a technology-focused company.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
  • Proficiency in issue tracking tools like Jira or Azure, Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software tools used in the software development industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Knowledge of market research, competitive analysis, and data-driven decision-making.

3. Skills

  • Technical Skills

    •  Proficiency in understanding technical aspects of software development.

    • Familiarity with APIs, cloud services, and emerging technologies.

    • Ability to analyze data and use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, PowerBI).

    • Expertise in user behavior analysis and customer journey mapping.

    • Ability to manage multiple products or features simultaneously.
